The Al Attia Group, established over a decade ago in Egypt, is the mother company of Al Watania Steel, which was launched in Qatar in 2003.

Al Watania Steel is one of the main suppliers of reinforced steel in Qatar, which is in great demand in the country's booming construction industry. With a state of the art computerized workshop for cutting and bending steel, the company currently has a monthly output of some 4,000 tons, with a view to increasing productivity to 10,000 tons in the near future.

Al Watania Steel is currently engaged with many high profile building projects in the capital city, Doha. These include the expansion of the popular City Center shopping mall and supplying steel for several new and exclusive towers and office buildings. Future plans include manufacturing plastic products, as well as building an additional workshop to cope with the increasingly high demands for their quality products.
